For the third time world speed record for a CIMA's gearbox
We are proud to announce that on the 10th of October 2020 our customer SSC Shelby has obtained the speed record on a public road of 508 Km/h (peak at 532,8 Km/h) with his street legal hypercar SSC Tuatara, this has been possible also thanks to CIMA Gearbox T1107 that permits the maximum performance possible on the market.
This stage is not new for CIMA, in fact this new record replaces the previous one established by the Bugatti Chiron on 02/09/2019, but the car owning the still previous record was the Koenigsegg Agera which reached the limit of 447 Km/h on the 4th of November 2017 always with a gearbox produced by CIMA in Italy.
A new speed limit will be established in the future, any doubt on the gearbox that can be able to set it?
